I’m Amir Fekrazad, Ph.D., an economist and Associate Professor of Economics at Texas A&M University–San Antonio.
My work spans empirical research, data analysis, and AI applications. I started Data Asset Advisors to help business owners explore a practical question: could the knowledge captured in their everyday work have value to AI developers?

What does “licensing data” mean?
It means granting defined permission to use specified records or content under a contract. The agreement determines permitted uses, duration, exclusivity, compensation, and other terms. We do not assume those terms on your behalf.
Who is a good fit?
Businesses with substantial archives of original digital work and the right to license them. Complete records with history, context, and outcomes are often more useful than isolated files. The interest form is a starting point, not an eligibility decision.
What about client confidentiality and personal information?
Ownership, contracts, confidentiality, and consent must be assessed before any transfer. Removing names does not automatically create licensing rights. The licensing partner must establish appropriate permissions and data protections with you.
How much could my business earn?
There is no standard or guaranteed amount. Compensation depends on the type, volume, quality, rights, and usefulness of the records, and the terms of a specific offer. The licensing partner provides any quote directly.
Do I need to upload anything or pay to inquire?
No. The initial inquiry is free and asks only for contact details and a few high-level answers. Please do not send datasets, patient information, client documents, passwords, or confidential files through this website.
